Three Kings Incense Resin

Also known as the “Gourmet Blend,” the Three Kings resin is a mixture of three resin types: frankincense, myrrh, and benzoin. This resin mixture is perfect for bringing in peace, prosperity, and success in people’s lives.

Just as how the Three Kings brought these gifts to Christ to wish Him abundance, wisdom, tranquility, and power, these gifts are also brought toward you with this resin blend. Light this resin during meditation or prayer and allow good spirits to come.

Some cultures use incense to welcome guests or to clean the houses from bad spirits.

A word of warning – DON’T add too much resin at first, because it produces a LOT of smoke! Also if you use too much, the temperature of the charcoal can be reduced and you can end up with a nasty-smelling cloud of steamy smoke (from the small amount of moisture always present in the resin).

Start with no more than about 2 grams of resin – that’s approximately a quarter of a level teaspoonful.

To burn the resin as an incense you need to have a heat source. Most people use a charcoal disc that is designed specifically for this purpose. The disc should be placed inside a heat resistant container with earth inside if required to shield the strong heat. Once alight the resin can be spooned gently placed onto the charcoal and the resin becomes an incense and the delightful aromas are released. You can then add more resin as required.

Safety note: Never leave unattended. Do not place container on flammable surface. Keep away from children and pets and do not ingest. Dispose of charcoal safely.
